Toni Rassi
It was Toni Rassi's dream and desires to have her own salon that became what is Anthony Rocco's Hair Design today. Because she grew up with parents that operated hair salons, she was already familiar with the business at a young age. She received her license in 1997 and has been growing and excelling ever since. Her career began at John Robert's Hair Studio & Spa in Mayfield Heights. After working there for six years, she couldn't ignore her dream any longer and it all came true in January 2003. Toni has had extensive education that includes Vidal Sassoon, Pivot Point, Aveda, Aquage, and Redken. During her education she furthered her expertise in cutting, color, updo styling, photo make-up, bridal services, and chemical straightening. This has helped her perform her favorite part of the job which includes making people look good and making them feel good about themselves. She is happily married to Mark Rassi and has two beautiful, healthy daughters, and a wonderful, healthy son. Words She Lives By: Life is a gift. Live it & Love it.  Tina Marie
Tina started off at Anthony Rocco's as a receptionist and helped out while attending Kent State University. Her purpose in the salon is no longer that of the front desk area, but it has now shifted since she graduated. Tina now manages the promotions within the salon, brainstorming deals and specials, in charge of updating the website, and is focused on the overall well-being and flow of the salon. Even though this isn't her full time career, it's important to her since it involves her family, in particular the dream of her sister, Toni Rassi. She also does the weekend weather at WFMJ in Youngstown. She has just completed the Broadcast Meteorology Program through Mississippi State University and is an AMS certified meteorologist.

 Vincenti Enzo Armanetti
Enzo Armanetti joined Anthony Rocco's just a few months after it opened its doors in 2003. He has previously owned his own salons and has worked at many other area salons during the 34 years he has been in the salon industry. He began his career at Roffler's and then went on to own and operate four different facilities including: International Hair Design in Beachwood for 10 years, Ebony & Ivory in Euclid, Enzo's Salon in Mentor, and Happy Nails in Willoughby. Before settling at Anthony Rocco's, he worked at Salon LA SE in Chardon. Since 1976 he has gained specialty education from Jiwgers, Tony and Guy in London, Vidal Sassoon in Toronto & New York, Trevor Sorbye in Paris, and Belvediere in Italy. Maria Crnic
Maria Crnic is no stranger to the business with her experience spanning over the last 40 years. For the first 12 years of her career, she started off at Town and Country before moving to Joseph's for two years. Prior to joining Anthony Rocco's, she worked at the Polo Club Hair Design for 13 years. She has furthered her education through classes with Redken, Eufor C, and other various styling and cutting classes. Specialty Areas: Color, Cutting, & Updos Bonnie Davis
Bonnie Davis originally joined our staff in 2003 but after two years of working with us, she made the decision to stay at home with her three beautiful children. Now that they are in school, Bonnie decided to rejoin our team once again in 2009. She began her career 12 years ago at Carjen's Hair Fashions before making the move to Anthony Rocco's. She has loved working with the employees at Anthony Rocco's along with meeting and talking with the wonderful clients. On top of that she likes to help people look and feel great about themselves!  Nicole Doganiero
Nicole Doganiero joined our salon in October 2007 and has been prospering ever since. Once she graduated from the Brown Aveda Institute in Mentor, she went on to begin her career at New Design Salon & Spa for her first two years. Her background and education includes Aveda customized hair color, Aveda make-up, Aveda styling & updo techniques, and Aquage cutting. Being able to fulfill her clients' needs and making them look their absolute best is the driving force behind this stylist. She loves being able to have a client come in and also be brave and entrusting her to use her experience and expertise to give them the look that she thinks suits that client best. Erin Giunta
Erin Giunta has been in the hair industry for 23 years, and six years of that she's been a part of the AR's team. Prior to Anthony Rocco's, she worked at Polo Club Hair Design in Mayfield Heights for nine years. She received her cosmetology license in 1987 and it was that year that she began working at Raun Hairdressers and stayed there until 1995. Erin continues education classes annually to keep up on the latest haircutting, color, and styling trends. The things she enjoys about working at Anthony Rocco's is the flexibility, location, and working with her fellow co-workers. Michelle Gruly
In July 2009 we received a call from Michelle Gruly who was looking to make a move and wanted to join our team. After talking with one of her good friends who is also one of our loyal employees, Tammy Guerrini, she realized that Anthony Rocco's had what she was looking for. She brings years of experience in the hair industry with her. Michelle began her cosmetology career 26 years ago at Jack Arra’s in Willoughby, Ohio. Other salons she was employed at included Avanti’s in Chesterland and Arra’s in Chagrin Falls. Through her career she has continued her education on the latest styles and trends with color and cutting techniques and make-up. Even if it meant traveling to see creative artists and expand her hair knowledge, Michelle took advantage of these opportunities. The drive behind this stylist is having the ability to be creative and make people’s day.  Tammy Guerrini
After Anthony Rocco's had been in business for over a year is when Tammy Guerrini joined the salon team. She brought with her the experience of the industry, experience of owning a salon, and support. Twenty-five years ago she started off working at Raun Hairdressers for eight years before making a career move to Polo Club Hair Design. During a 10-year timeframe, she owned and operated the salon and also worked as a stylist. Tammy has had education and training with TIGI in London, Vidal Sassoon in Toronto, and Paul Mitchell. Her main priority with her job that keeps her coming back for more is making her clients happy. Specialty Areas: Cutting & Color, Updo's, & Perms
Suzanne Masony
Our most recent addition, Suzanne Masony, came to us in September 2009. She received her license 15 years ago and worked at John Robert's Studio & Spa for 13 of those years. Her decision to join our team was based on how friendly and family oriented our staff and salon are and she agreed with Anthony Rocco's mission. Prior to John Robert's she trained in Atlanta for two years and also attended college. It was during her four years at Cleveland State University and Kent State University that she realized her passion was not in elementary education, but instead in hair. By being a cosmetologist it has allowed this stylist to be creative and her favorite part is getting to know and talk with her clients.  Vivian Mazzolini
Vivian Mazzolini has over 45 years of experience under her belt, and six years of that has been at Anthony Rocco's. She began her career working at Richard Coiffures under the ownership of one of our other fellow employees, Richard Vaccariello. Vivian then went on to work Polo Club Hair Design, which Tammy Guierrini operated and owned at the time. She, Tammy, Erin, Marlene, and Maria all made the transition to Anthony Rocco's together in 2004. This stylist hasn't stopped learning because she continues to take classes to keep her in hair dressing shape. Constantly meeting new people while growing with her devoted clients is what keeps this stylist in the business to this day. Words She Lives By: Honesty is the best policy. Lynn Migliorini
Just a short time after we opened, Lynn Migliorini came in seeking a new opportunity and we happily accepted this advanced colorist into the Anthony Rocco's team. Like a few others in our salon, she too owned her own salon, J.L. Signatures, for ten years. She not only had the years of being in the industry, but the experience of owning and operating a salon. Before owning her own salon, she worked at ARRA Hair Design for a decade before making the career move to own her own salon. Following that, she taught classes at Renbow International for three years before starting at AR's. Her education pertains mainly to that of color training and further advancement in color techniques. She trained under Leon Amendora, a master colorist in New York, attended the Midwest and New York Shows. Specialty Areas: Color and Color Correction
Cheryl Olexa
Here's another one of our pioneers that was with us from the start, Cheryl Olexa. She's been in the hair industry for the past 25 years. She began at Ricco's and remained there for 12 years before making the move to John Robert's Hair Studio & Spa in Mayfield Heights. During that time she trained with Vidal Sassoon in Toronto in 2000 and 2002 and also at Pivot Point in Chicago in 1999. After five years, she made the decision to embark on a new adventure of joining Anthony Rocco's. Darlene Starlin works at Anthony Rocco's on Saturday's shampooing clients for the stylists. Her history of working with hair goes back over 35 years and it began at Robert's Hairstyling. Despite a change in ownership, a change in salon name to Teasers Hairstyling, and a few location changes, Darlene remained as a loyal employee. Over 30 years have passed and she is still working for Teasers Hairstyling and just like Pat Kasunic, she is not only an employee but a close family friend to the Pietrondi's. If you're ever in on a Saturday, you'll be able to pick Darlene amongst the sounds in the salon because of her contagious, yet distinctive laugh. Marlene Wallace
Marlene Wallace is another one of our long list of experienced operators. She has been doing hair for the past 42 years and was hired in 2004 at Anthony Rocco's. For the first 24 years of her profession she was employed at Richard Coiffures and then for 12 years at Polo Club Hair Design. She's a Managing Cosmetologist who continues classes and education still to this day. For Marlene, Anthony Rocco's provides satisfaction through its atmosphere, co-workers, and clientele. Nail Technicians
 Celena Santoro
Fifteen ago Celena Santoro received her license from the Inner State Beauty School for nail services. She worked at John Robert's Hair Studio & Spa for seven years and then at Fabulous Ten and Ten for a year. Celena joined Anthony Rocco's when it first opened and has been our most dedicated and reliable nail technician ever since. She is an Advanced Manicure and Pedicure Technician and has participated & trained in therapeutic pedicuring classes. To add to her education, she has also taken classes in nail art and acrylic sculpting. Celena loves her flexible hours and the people she's surrounded by. Her other love is her three stud muffins, aka her sons. She has a knack for quality in the work she does and cares for her clients nail care as she does her own. One of the voices you'll hear on the other end of the phone when you call Anthony Rocco's Hair Design is that of Pat Kasunic. She has been working as a part time receptionist since we opened in 2003. Her role in the salon industry doesn't stop there though. She has been working as a stylist for the past 50 years. Once she was done attending Euclid Academy of Downtown, she worked at Center Mayfield Salon for ten years and then worked at Robert's Hairstyling. For the second half of her career, she worked for Teasers Hairstyling, another family owned salon of the Pietrondi's, and is still currently employed there. She has continued to be a loyal employee over the years and a close family friend to the Pietrondi's. She enjoys meeting and greeting the clients and being surrounded by her fellow employees. Another friendly voice who answers the phones and assists customers is our receptionist, Mary Ellen Passalaqua. She and Pat Kasunic have handled the busy rush of customers coming and going and handled it with grace all while taking phone calls and booking appointments at the same time. Mary Ellen has great patience and a lot of experience for customer service. She's the dependable employee that is always there when we need an extra hand. You'll always find her with a smile on her face when entering the salon. | |
